I headed up to the farm house and out of courtesy I asked permission at the farm house that looks on to the stones and they were more than happy and pointed me in the right direction.
One very large recumbent stone standing and one very large stone fallen which could be a flanker or a circle stone, a fallen medium stone at the corner of the pile and 30 odd smaller stones are piled in the middle.

There is no requirement to gain access permission as the "right of responsible access" is in place, however, the access road, gate and proximity of the houses can make even the most seasoned circle-ist feel a bit awkward. I was challenged and I just said I was visiting the stone circle and continued on my walk.
This circle is in good condition. The recumbent still stands along with two large circle stones at the back of the circle which have almost become part of the wall. The flankers and three large circle stones have fallen. Six or so medium stones make up parts of what looks like kerb stones for a cairn. Lovely location.

I headed to the main house to ask permission as the stones location is more like a large garden than a field but I happen to pass the owners out for a walk and they were more than happy for me to access the stones. This is a well keep circle.
Looks like one flanker still standing with the other flanker fallen along with the recumbent stone which has fractured. The standing flanker looks like it's been moved in towards the circle slightly. Two (and a half) large circle stones remain standing and four large circle stones fallen with three smaller stones marking the circle with four or five medium to small stones fallen around the immediate vicinity. Center circle there are three large circle stones perhaps pushed in to make way for the road up the the main house.

I did call at the steadings as a courtesy to explain my reason for being around their remote location but there was no one at home.
Large recumbent stone still standing with two medium stones standing either side which may be the flankers although they do stand a meter and two meters away from the respective sides of the recumbent. Three medium circle stones lay fallen to one side and lots of small stones pushed to the base of the recumbent. The circle is still recognisable as slightly raised patch of ground. Lovely site with full panoramic views half of which is the sea.

There is one large flanker still standing, other flanker fallen and the massive recumbent has fallen back and split down the middle.

On the way to the circle I visited two standing Pictish stones, both class 1 [Pictish Beast, Tuning Fork & Mirror], these stones are both aligned to the recumbent circle on the hill.
Both flankers and the recumbent are still standing along with one large circle stone. Two large circle stones have fallen with lots of medium and small stones scattered around the site and also pushed up against the recumbent stone.

The very large recumbent stone and one flanker still standing the other flanker has fallen. There are a number of kerbstones which follow the circle circumference perhaps for a cairn that's now long gone. Four large circle stones are fallen with three large circle stones still standing. An excellent example in a lovely location.
