The Great Crowns of Stone suggests that the four remaining standing stones have been in the same configuration for the past 150 years. The west flanker (traditionally numbered No.1) is missing however the massive recumbent, the remaining flanker and two very large circle stones are all standing. GCoS also mentions that there may be some of the kerbstones used in the adjacent field stone wall / stone dyke. This circle is very accessible. There is a large pile of small and medium stones at the back of the recumbent stone.
