The one remaining standing stone looks like it maybe a circle stone that has a 1" drill hole near the base on the inner face. Around 6 ~ 8 meters infront of this stone is a massive well dressed stone almost fully buried and is only visible by the drop off in ground level, shape and size would suggest that this could be the recumbent stone

On the way to the stone I met the very friendly farmer who recalled his father telling him about how they used small amounts of explosive / gunpowder to split the stones apart, the remains of the broken stones can be seen on the farm track and along the far side of the field.
The stone is a 2.7 meter flat triangular shape and is fallen, it is thought that this was one of the flanker's.

The massive recumbent stone is all that remains of this circle. Referencing drawings and information from  Great Crowns of Stone, the impressive recumbent stone has fallen back and is supported at one end by a few smaller stones.

The two very large stones that remain standing are most likely to be the flankers. The recumbent has either been removed or broken up. There are a number of medium stones inbetween and around the two flankers which maybe the circle stones or cairn kerbstones having been pushed together. One of these stones that rest's against the right hand flanker has a number of cup mark's

I did knock at the farm house a couple of times to make my presence known but there was no answer. I looked around the stones and took some pictures when an older gentleman, who was one of the family that manage the farm, approached me and so I explained myself. He was very friendly and we got talking about the large well dressed recumbent, I mentioned that one of the books I use (Great Crowns of Stone) said that this large stone was part of the stone circle that was originally in the next field at which point he pointed to the top of the field which was where I was about to wave my hand in that general direction. Then I mentioned that the large long stone had been larger at one point and had been moved from the circle when it was cleared around 1866 to become part of the field's stone dyke and then moved from the dyke to beside the pond where it is now. There was a smile on this gentleman's face and a glint in his eyes, he said that's right and told me that he helped move it from the dyke in 1973 to where it sits now. My jaw must of hung open for a while, the chap made his excuses as he needed to go and tell his son's how they weren't doing a task correctly and shook my hand and was off. This is technically one of the three destroyed sites or ghost sites listed in GCoS as the original circle location had been cleared 150 years ago.

This is one of the three destroyed sites or ghost sites that's listed in Great Crowns of Stone and I can confirm that there is indeed nothing here, nothing, not a sausage. There is a medium / large stone at the top of the field along with a pile of some medium stones that are far too big to be stones from ploughing, however GCoS mention that the circles had been cleared away before 1866 so there is little chance of finding anything. I am not sure what the technical term is to validate that theres nothing there but I can say it's not very satisfying at all. Rightly you may ask why bother visiting such a ghost site and your right it's a bit mad but if it's listed in GCoS then I shall try to visit the site

The long recumbent stone still stands, there is no sign of the flanker's however all the remaining circle stones have fallen, are broken and are merged with the fallen kerb stones that circle the massive cairn. The cairn is significant but has been heavily excavated leaving trenches through the site. Due to the heavy forest floor over growth it is difficult to get the true size of this massive site from these pictures.
